Brief:
The Screen Machine, the only mobile cinema serving Scotland's most remote areas, is on its last wheels. They need a safer, more suitable and more sustainable vehicle if residents of the Highlands and Islands are to continue seeing the latest Hollywood films in this beloved community asset.

Trouble is, The Screen Machine II has a price tag of £1.6 million...

Summary:
We needed a hook to flow throughout multiple different kinds of assets to encourage donations from rural residents, further afield and central government.

So we got to thinking, what's the one thing Scotland and Hollywood are both famous for?

With a rousing voice over from national darling Alan Cumming, and an impeccable soundtrack provided by local legends Tide Lines, we took to the hills in an unforgettable way with an urgent message... Save Our Screen Machine.
Results:

The campaign was picked up by The Scotsman, The National and STV Scotland.

It has raised over £31,000 so far and was integral in helping Regional Screen Scotland (the charity responsible for running The Screen Machine) secure 3 more years of funding from the Scottish Government.

And then there's this from Simon Drysdale, Interim CEO of The Screen Machine;
"Your film is a triumph – the Cabinet Secretary for Culture guffawed very loudly at the Scottish Job bit.
 Please accept our heartfelt thanks and pass them on to your colleagues for the exceptional work you have done on the film and the other assets. You and the Collective team have been incredibly generous with your time and resources. At a parliamentary reception in a grand hall on Tuesday evening we outdid all the other exhibitors with our shiny film on a big screen – there is no way we could have done anything like this ourselves."
